Reputation work starts with knowing what changed
A Wikipedia article is the input to your knowledge panel, your search results and every AI answer about you. Watching it is the cheapest reputation work there is, and the only kind that has to happen first.
One article, and then everything downstream of it
Reputation work usually starts with search results, because that is what people see. But the Wikipedia article is upstream of a lot of them. It feeds the knowledge panel, it is quoted by assistants, and it is often the first thing another writer reads before they write about you.
Fix a search result and you have fixed one result. Miss a change to the article and you have missed the source.

Questions
Something defamatory was added. What do I do right now?
Wikipedia has a process for this. Living-person articles are held to a stricter standard than the rest of the encyclopedia, and material that is contentious and unsourced can be removed on sight by any editor. Raise it on the article talk page or through Wikipedia's own channels. Do not edit the article yourself, because a conflicted edit is usually reverted and it damages your standing in the discussion.
Can you get something removed?
No. We are a detection service, not a reputation agency. We tell you what changed, quickly, with the evidence attached. Some people take that to a lawyer, some to Wikipedia's own noticeboards, some do nothing because the edit turns out to be fine.
Why not hire a firm that handles the whole thing?
You may want to. Be careful who you hire: several firms in this category have been banned from Wikipedia for undisclosed paid editing, and one is well documented. If you do engage someone, ask directly whether they edit articles and what happened the last time they did.
